What's Inside the Book

Eleven chapters. Three parts. Written to be read in a weekend and used the following Monday.

  • ✔

A clear-eyed view of what AI can actually do for a business like yours — where it earns money, where it saves time, and where it's overhyped and best left alone.

  • ✔

A way to cut thousands of tools down to the handful that matter — so you're evaluating three real options instead of drowning in a market designed to confuse you.

  • ✔

A map of where AI belongs in your operation — which part of the business to point it at first, and which parts to leave exactly as they are.

  • ✔

The questions that separate a real solution from a sales pitch — so you never overpay for something that doesn't fit, and you can spot a bad deal in the first five minutes.

  • ✔

A low-risk way to test before you commit — start small, measure it properly, and expand only what proves itself.

  • ✔

A framework you can hand to your team — so implementation doesn't live or die on you having the time to manage it.

Note: This book is NOT for AI Nerds who understand everything about AI already. This is for the business owners who see its value but don't know where to start.

There Are Two Ways to Do This

Every owner who takes AI seriously ends up on one of these two paths. The difference isn't intelligence or budget. It's whether you're working from a map.

  • Guessing your way through

Months of articles and videos that contradict each other.

    Working from a map

One read, one framework, one clear place to start.

  • Guessing your way through

Buying tools because someone confident recommended them.

    Working from a map

Buying tools because they fit a job you've already identified.

  • Guessing your way through

Spending real money to find out something doesn't work.

    Working from a map

Testing small, and only scaling what earns its place.

  • Guessing your way through

Automating whatever happens to be easiest to automate.

    Working from a map

Starting where the return is, not where the effort is lowest.

  • Guessing your way through

Whatever you learn goes stale when the tools change.

    Working from a map

A way of judging any tool, including ones that don't exist yet.

  • Guessing your way through

Still deciding this time next year.

    Working from a map

Something running and paying for itself within a quarter.

Both paths cost you something. One costs a weekend of reading. The other costs a year and a good deal more money.

One Weekend, and You'll Know What to Do

170 pages. A clear strategy. No tech degree required.

Questions

I'm not technical. Will I understand it?

Yes. It assumes you know nothing about AI and everything about running a business. Plain language throughout, with a glossary at the front for anything unfamiliar.

Am I already too late?

No. A handful of businesses are well ahead. Most haven't started at all — including, most likely, the ones you compete with. The gap is real but it's early, and moving deliberately now still puts you in front of most of your market.

I've tried AI things before and got nowhere.

You're in the majority. More than 80% of AI projects fail, and it's rarely the technology. It's people buying tools before they've worked out what job they need doing. That's the part this fixes.

Will this apply to my industry?

Every business has the same three layers — what customers see, what your team handles, and what runs in the background. The map is the same for a clinic, a trade, a shop or a firm. Where you start on it is your call.

Is it going to tell me to replace my staff?

No. There's a straight section on what to automate, what should stay human, and how to handle it properly if a role does change. It doesn't pretend that part is easy.

What format is it?

A softcover book, printed and shipped to you. Not a download.

What if I don't find it helpful?

Email me and I'll refund you. Keep the book.
